I’m Sarah Yorski and I’m an illustrator and designer from Connecticut. As a kid I always had a knack for drawing people and animals and that eventually turned me into wanting to pursue a career in art. I have had artwork in the Alexander Goldfarb Student Juried Exhibition in 2017 and 2019, as well as a student exhibition at the New Britain Museum of American Art in 2016. After graduating I want to seek jobs in advertising, book illustration, design, and freelance work as much as possible.
My illustration style has evolved into focusing on realistic shape and form of my subject by using blocks of colors and shapes, with linework to imply detail and texture. I intended to keep experimenting with this style by implementing more techniques in order to improve my portfolio and strengthen my skills as an artist.
